Ruth Brannon and Angela ‘You can bike too’http://www.youcanbiketoo.org/meet-the-team.html You Can Bike Too came from Aaron’s desire to cycle with his family and friends. He too wanted to experience the wind on his face as he pedalled to freedom and independence. Ruth, a keen Cambridge cyclist and incredible people connector, decided to help Aaron and a mixed ability team to make it happen. And they did! Two years, over twenty bikes, over 500 cyclists and the sweat and tears of many volunteers later and You Can Bike Too is born. We now have individual bikes to hire for anyone who wants to have a go at cycling. Perhaps you haven’t been on a bike for a while (or ever!), are recovering from an injury, or just love the idea of cycling alongside your good friend or colleague. Keep an eye out for our calendar of events too, or ask us to arrange cycling for your whole group. It’s all about community. It’s a community of great partnerswho got us this far and it’s a community that keeps cycling fun and accessible to all. Will you join our community? |

It’s really important for parent carers and professionals to attend the SEN conference. It’s a very good opportunity to hear about what’s happening around policy changes, but also hearing from parent carers about some of the issues that they face on a regular basis.
